SANGEN (三元)
Triangle, Circle and Square
|
|
|
The triangle means an aspect of ki stream.
The circle is an universal emblem of infinity, perfection
and eternity. The nature is shown in circles, rotations,
and spirals. The circle is a zero, the emptiness realizing
all these things. It represents a liquid aspect.
The square is steady, ordered and material. It is the
basis of the physical world, which consists of the ground,
water, fire and air. The square designates a firm aspect.
The Triangle represents the generating of energy and
the initiative. It is the steadiest physical position.
The circle symbolizes association, clearness and perfection.
It is a source of boundless techniks. The square means
the form and hardness - a basis of the control applied.
" The circle, a triangle and a square " can be interpreted
at many levels, but for students of Aikido, the most
suitable explanation of it is the association of heavens
(circle), the human (triangle) and the grounds (square).

was founded in September, 1999.
The basic directions of
the club activity: Ju-Jitsu, Aikido Aikikai, Kobudo.
The Budocenter "SANGEN"
cooperates with a number of the Russian and international organizations
and is included into: Russian Union of Martial Arts , International
Euro-Asian Aikido Foundation, WASCA, Kobudo Federation
of St.-Petersburg and the number of others.
Our Budocenter "SANGEN"
holds annual Ju-jitsu and Aikido seminars with participation
of the Russian and foreign masters.
Diplomated masters with
the grades of the instructors' international courses work in
the club. They constantly improve their professional skill during
Russian and international training seminars.

Our Budocenter unites people of the most various ages - from 4 years children
to those who are over… :).
For the club operating time there were prepared and certified
more than ten black belts in various kinds of martial arts.
Has representation in Kostroma
(FAK).
In 2010, Budocenter "SANGEN" was named an associate member and official representative in Russia of the World Academy of Sports and Cultural Associations W.A.S.C.A. |
